  • Registered Sonographer with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) UK
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
  • Flexible schedule and the ability to work independently
  • Valid driver’s license

    Part-time hours: 20 per week

    Salary: £20.00-£30.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare ultrasound equipment and exam rooms ensuring proper sterilisation and safety procedures are followed
  • Perform ultrasound scans on patients in accordance with recognised professional standards
  • Use tools and safety equipment properly to ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging
  • Attend additional educational courses and work to advance personal knowledge and experience within the practice
  • Keep competencies documents up to date
  • Use ethical judgment and critical thinking skills to perform imaging safely
  • Answer patient questions and provide them with accurate information
  • Assist in the management and maintenance of the ultrasound equipment at the clinic
  • Lead and mentor additional Sonographers and their teams
